Him? Uchiha Sasuke, the last survivor of his clan, and claims himself as an avenger. His clan was killed by the one closest to him, but for some reason the killer left Sasuke, and only him, alive. Now, Sasuke is on his path to taking his revenge on that man and re-store his clan. Sasuke is first introduced to the series as a very quiet, calm, and cool guy who seems to have all the girls in class drooling over him. He thinks that everyone is of annoyance, and wants to be alone, and doesn't even like being as popular as he is. But, even though he is loved by many girls and teachers (because he is the number one rookie, and gets the top scores), there is still loniness within Sasuke's heart. He thought that being alone was all there is. But now that he has team 7, he's learned to care for them in his own way. He may not show it like Naruto does, but it is clear that he is willing to do anything to protect them. Even though with friends now, everything is not alright. Sasuke's mind is now in spilts over his friends or his revenge.

Them? Sasuke's first meeting of Sakura was probably when they were really young. But Sasuke never even thought twice about her because he thought she was just one of those crazed fangirls that follow him all over [like me?]. But, once they got on the same team, Sasuke began to soften up to her more and was a lot kinder to her than before.He saw her abilites, and noticed how much she cared for him even though he finds annoying at times. Now, instead of thinking of himself, he thinks of others safety too. If you haven't noticed, he always wanted to fight by himself and asked the others to run away. He doesn't want any of them to get hurt, and like I said, he would do anything to protect her. Sasuke's coldness from the begining has really changed. Before, Sasuke would push her away and wouldn't even want to talk to her, or if she hugs him, he would try to run away. But recently, Sakura's hugs seem like exactly what he needed. Sasuke, filled with lonliness, and no family, needs to be loved. And Sakura seems to be giving him that love. Sasuke could easily push her away at any time, but he can't. Sasuke, even if he was in love, he could never say it or admit it to himself because he knows that feelings like those will stop him from doing his revenge. And, as an avenger, he will not let anyone get in the way of it. Not even Sakura.

Us? *ahem* One word. Hotness. Come on, you have got to admit, Sasuke is pretty hot *nudge nudge*. There are many Sasuke bashers in this world, and the most reason I get for this is because of his attitude or "Whenever he talks, it pisses me off". But I don't know, I feel completely different. Whenever he talks, I melt away or faint. XD. Sasuke seems like a cold person, he seems rude, and just plain mean or a jerk [to some people] sometimes. But, I think all of that is a way to hide any feelings he has. I think that inside, he is glad to made such great friends, and I think he really cares for his team because they're like family to him. But he doesn't want to admit, and he can't. To pursue his revenge, he needs feelings of hatred, or emptiness. Or no emotions at all. He has no room for love, and he doesn't want it. Sasuke is very cute in his own way, you can see him blush at times, and he gives Sakura these 'looks' many times in the manga. Even jealousy looks. I just think he is the greatest bishi in the world, and that he is just misunderstood in this World. oh yeah, and did i mention he kicks major ass? XD.

As for me (Chelsea), I feel the same as Odori. ^^; Alot of people hate Sasuke because he has that calm exterior and seems like he doesn't care about anyone, but himself. I don't think they could be more wrong. Even if he gets attention from almost everyone, who ever said he wanted it? You can't blame him for thinking that everything (especially his fanclub) is annoying. I'm sure that Sasuke doesn't think that highly of himself, considering his past and everything... Aside from that, I have to say, Sasuke is one young boy that is extremely hot for his age. *cough* Yeah. Not to mention that his voice is extremely melt-and-drool worthy. Anyways, back on track.. Sasuke's personality isn't one to be seen from one angle, so to speak. There's more to him than meets the eye, which is why I like him as much as I do. He isn't simple (and I always did love challenges) to figure out, you can't exactly tell what he's feeling or thinking most of the time. He keeps up a poker face so those around him don't ask questions about him that end up with him digging up his past. He's quite the character and even if you hate him, it shows that his character development was done well. Human emotions surfacing from an anime is an accomplishment in my eyes.

"Sasuke is now within the darkness."

It's official, Sasuke has gone full bad. After feeling really low when he noticed that Naruto has improved majorly and could have beaten him, Sasuke was lost in his train of thoughts of choosing between his friends or revenge. Kakashi comes along and seems to convince him that his friends should be more important. It seems like Sasuke was in the brink to choosing that path, until the sound four came and convinced him immediately to take revenge.
Sasuke's departure of Konoha was in the middle of the night, and the only person to catch him was Sakura. Their last meeting or farewell was one of the best moments of SasuSaku there is. I will not explain it here because it will be in the moments and gallery sections. Sakura and Sasuke had their exchange of words, with Sakura crying her eyes out and begging him to stay. And it all ends with Sasuke, who was in front of her, ran behind her and said "Thank you." That was the last thing he said before he knocked her out and put her on a bench.
Now where is he? With Orchimaru, awaiting to be given power. He has already contained level 2 of the curse seal, which if you go full out, looks like the image from above on the right. Sasuke, even though being told by Naruto in their battle that Orchimaru will use him as a container, still wants to go to him because he has decided that he will do anything for power so he can finally defeat Itachi, his brother. Sakura and Naruto both failed in bringing him back *Naruto tried harder though*.
Now, currently, in the series, 2 1/2 years has passed since Sasuke and Naruto's battle. Now, Naruto and Sakura only have 6 months to rescue Sasuke before he becomes Orchimaru's container. Sasuke has not yet to make an appearance in the manga or in the anime. Everyone if waiting for his return because (who can't live without his hotness on the screen) so far, all the characters are more grown up and have new styles/looks. Everyone is wondering what the manga-ka did to Sasuke. Better be good! Now, everyone from the U.S to Japan is waiting for Sasuke's exciting return and possibly a second battle.
